KIRSTEN EVANS
Director/Dancer
Kirsten Evans is a freelance artist, dancer, and writer based in NYC and Providence, RI. As a Company Dancer with Festival Ballet Providence (now Ballet RI) for 13 years, she performed a wide repertoire of principal roles in both classical and contemporary works including those by George Balanchine, Christopher Wheeldon, Trey McIntyre, Viktor Plotnikov, and Annabelle Lopez Ochoa. She also appears in the 2025 Amazon Original Series Étoile, choreographed by Marguerite Derricks, written/directed by Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino.

Kirsten graduated summa cum laude from Providence College with a BA in Journalism. Her writing has been published in several magazines and newspapers, including Pointe and Dance Magazine. She has been hired as media coverage for the Vail Dance Festival by British Magazine "The Wonderful World of Dance" and has authored two books.

Kirsten is also the founder and director of Revolve Dance Project, where she takes on many roles, including graphic designer, artistic curator, artistic director, executive director, and head of development.
